The Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington is set to debut two new treehouse suites this September crafted by Seattle-based architecture firm MG2 with interiors conceived by Ankrom Moisan Architects. Situated along the banks of the Columbia River Gorge, the the lodges will join the two existing treehouse accommodations that also provide a connection with the natural setting.
Elevated 15 to 20 feet above the ground, the new treehouses will be equipped with two beds—one king bed and one double bed separated by a curtain—to accommodate larger groups. The rustic design features a large outdoor deck as well as a fireplace and stately bathroom. The treehouses will be installed a short distance from lodge amenities such as the Waterleaf Spa, Skamania Lodge Golf Course, and dining venues.
