The Windjammer Resort in St. Lucia has unveiled four new villas as part of a recent renovation.
Stephanie Tyler of Miami-based firm International Design Concepts joined the multimillion-dollar project to design the interiors of the new North Point Villas, which merge relaxed sophistication with the resort’s classic Mediterranean architecture. Twenty-four additional units are currently in the works.
The two- and three-bedroom villas’ 9-foot sliding glass doors not only offer ample natural light but also extensive oceanfront views that seamlessly marry the inside and the out. An open layout creates one extended space, complete with 10-foot-tall coffered ceilings. Teak furnishings appear throughout the villas, with limestone floors complementing the walls’ laidback tropical pastel tones.
The master bathroom on the groundfloor features an outdoor shower and access to a private garden. The ground level also leads out to a courtyard and veranda with an infinity pool, while third floors provide access to a rooftop terrace, pool, and outdoor kitchen and dining area.
