Swiss-Belhotel will make its debut in Australia with the opening of the Swiss-Belhotel Brisbane next month. The 134-room property is located within walking distance of the South Bank Parklands, the Brisbane Convention & Entertainment Center, and the Queensland University of Technology Gardens Point campus, and also expects to serve a high volume of visitors to the nearby Gabba sports fields and the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
Contemporary design touches from local firm Husband Architects include marble in-room desks and LED lighting accents. Many rooms are interconnected and revel in views of the Brisbane River, Story Bridge, and Kangaroo Point cliffs. Amenities include a large corporate lounge, two meeting rooms, an indoor pool, gym, and bar and restaurant Café 63.
