The Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort in Hawaii has introduced three new beachfront residential-style villas. Located on Maui’s southwestern coastline, the new properties boost the resort’s collection of partial and full oceanview villas to ten.
The 3,234-square-foot villas house up to three bedrooms, private terraces, and baths and showers with views of the sea and gardens. Designed by New York-based Rockwell Group, the villas feature contemporary touches that embrace the Hawaiian spirit and signature Andaz style. Warm and neutral shades mesh with Hawaiian prints, while architectural details like Ambrato marble tiles, white lava stone floors, wooden whitewashed oak screens, and warm walnut finishes honor the natural beauty of the island. Each kitchen features custom marble counters, and the spacious lounge areas include large basket-like chairs and teak chaises.
1,000-square-foot lanais allow for an indoor-outdoor transition, and retractable low-emission glass walls afford views of the resort’s 15-acre beachfront. Villas also boast their own plunge pool or hot tub, and a barbeque grill.
