The Arcade Hotel Amsterdam Slated for May Debut

The Arcade Hotel Amsterdam is slated to reopen this May as an extension of the adjacently located Aalborg hotel. Conceived by Canadian hotelier Daniel Salmanovich, the modern gaming paradise will include cult console games and retro gaming facilities in the lobby and offer 43 new guestrooms.


The hotel’s lobby, bar, and restaurant will be fully revamped by Sandra Duran and Alejandro De Leon of locally based Arquetipo Estudio. The duo will also develop an individual interior concept for each guestroom as part of the expedited expansion. The Arcade and Aalborg properties, both of which are owned by Salmanovich, previously shared reception and lobby areas.
