Lark Hotels has announced the opening of its latest property on Martha’s Vineyard: the Edgartown Inn. The brand’s fifth outpost on the Massachusetts getaway town, the new 12-room retreat is crafted by Boston-based studio Rachel Reider Interiors to evoke a modern farmhouse flair inspired by the local vernacular.
The former residence of a local sea captain, the inn is reborn with a bright and airy ethos accentuated by a neutral palette. Handmade and vintage décor add character to the soothing atmosphere, woven light fixtures instill an artisan quality, and walls of greenery further soften the interior. And a vibrant mural by local artist MC in the entryway emphasizes the property’s sense of place.
