The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis.
Led by the Chicago-based the Gettys Group, the 136-room hotel’s renovation included a total redesign of its F&B program and all guestrooms and public spaces.
Guestrooms now feature layered earth tone textiles, mahogany furnishings, leather headboards, metal hardware accents, bronze table lamps, gray window treatments, geometric-clad carpeting, and blue velvet armchairs.
In partnership with Wischermann Partners and Jester Concepts, locally based ESG Architects redesigned the F&B program, which now includes the Monello restaurant, Constantine cocktail bar, and the Venetia bar and lounge.
Venetia, the lobby lounge, was transformed with new banquettes, tables, and a backlit marble bar, while Monello features a blue-and-silver color palette, metal decorative elements, and a private patio. Constantine, located downstairs, is inspired by its biblical namesake and references the building’s original use as a church in the 1930s. The space features a semi-circular bar and a repurposed pulpit that is juxtaposed with stained glass and decorative organ pipes.
Additional amenities include the Ivy Fitness Club and the 17,000-square-foot Ivy Spa Club, which includes a relaxation lounge, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, and private hair and nail salons.
