Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, has completed the $15 million renovation of the Sheraton Bloomington, owned by WB Hotel Partners and operated by Wischermann Partners.
The property is located in Bloomington, Minnesota near downtown Minneapolis, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and the Mall of America.
Designed by Chicago-based the Gettys Group, the Sheraton Bloomington’s revamp includes public spaces, guestrooms, and the addition of the modern Lela restaurant and the Sheraton Club lounge.
The lobby lounge now offers the brand’s new signature Paired F&B program and features a large-scale art installation behind illuminated registration desks. Nearby, a 30-foot-long bar and 10-screen video display provides a café experience during the day that converts into a high-design bar in the evening. All 282 guestrooms and suites were additionally reconfigured with a contemporary aesthetic.
Guests now have access to a revamped fitness center, three new meeting rooms, and more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space.
