Located in New York’s Theater District, just a few blocks away from Grand Central Terminal, the Muse, a Kimpton Hotel, recently completed an extensive property-wide renovation.
Upgraded meeting rooms include new furnishings, waterfall chandeliers, and black and white photographs depicting surreal mirror images of iconic New York architecture and skyline views. Each of the three rooms is equipped with 65-inch flat screen TVs enhanced with Apple TV and Google Chromecast.
Updates to the lobby include new chaise-style seating, as well as a glass chandelier and a handmade metallic vessel designed to recreate the look of cascading light. Adjacent to the lobby is NIOS restaurant, which is run by executive chef Jarett Brodi, and features seasonal American cuisine. The space now features communal dining tables.
The hotel’s 200 renovated guestrooms were designed by Intra-Spec Hospitality Design, and feature a classic black and white design palette. The bathrooms now feature Carrara marble and glass walk-in showers with large rainwater style showerheads, as well as backlit mirrors.
