Hospitality consortium Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has debuted the Reverie Saigon in Vietnam.
Following a seven-year development process, the 286-room luxury urban hotel, which includes the 39-story Times Square tower, opened in Ho Chi Minh City’s (also known as Saigon) District 1 area. The tower is a mixed-use development that contains office space, 89 extended-stay apartments, and designer showrooms.
Hong Kong-based Kent Lui Tactics, the project’s chief architect, conceived the property, which features 12 categories of accommodations, including 224 rooms ranging from 462 to 570 square feet, and 62 suites measuring 678 to 3,369 square feet. Guestrooms come in several variations, all with floor-to-ceiling windows. While some feature Italian silk wallcoverings, others are clad with hand-laid mosaic tiles. Additional design highlights include leather divans, chandeliers strung from mirrored medallions, and marble bathrooms.
The 5,834-square-foot Reverie Lounge is located on the 38th and 39th floors, which are connected by a gold leaf-encased marble staircase. Other F&B options include the Long @ Times Square, inspired by Europe’s sidewalk cafés; the subterranean R&J restaurant, complete with vibrant Italian mosaics; and the Café Cardinal all-day dining venue, a three-story space on the sixth floor. Set two stories below, the 200-seat Royal Pavilion restaurant features a jade, vermilion, and gold color palette that highlights an open-style East Asian setting with nine private dining rooms.
The 12,916-square-foot spa offers a beauty salon, a fitness center, saunas, steam rooms, a pool, and 10 treatment rooms—all located on the sixth and seventh floors.
Additional amenities include 14 event spaces and the fifth-floor La Scala ballroom, which features a 19th-century piano refinished with malachite stone and gilded bronze, crystal chandeliers, 24-foot-tall ceilings, and onyx-clad walls.
