New York-based Tihany Design conceived the interiors for the Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the second Four Seasons property in the city—the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach opened in 2014. The eight-story, 106-room property opened this week in a pedestrian friendly district filled with art galleries, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs.
The hotel has two entrances—one at street level for guests arriving by car, and the second onto the pedestrian walkways of the DIFC. In the upper lobby, the Penrose Lounge welcomes both guests and visitors for tea and cocktails. The Monogram is a private haven for guests on the street level, where they can work or host business meetings. Each guestroom also features an ergonomic workstation.
The hotel also features the Firebird Diner by American chef Michael Mina, while. the Luna Sky Bar is located on a rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the Burj Khalifa, the city skyline, and Arabian Gulf. Inspired by a falcon, the design features a gold and black palette, rotating cage-like liquor displays behind the bar, and a ceiling treatment that mimics feathers. The Churchill Club is a cigar club also located on the roof level.
A secret rooftop oasis features shaded lounges, a juice bar, and a swimming pool that resembles an ice cube. Just inside the pool is a spa as well as 24-hour fitness center. Guests at the Four Seasons Hotel DIFC also have full access to the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, located just fifteen minutes away by car.
Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre is the first of two openings in the UAE this year, preceded by Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach in late 2014 and followed by Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island this May.
