Tribute Portfolio, Starwood’s independent hotel and resort collection, has announced the signing of seven new properties, expanding its offerings to almost 30 hotels across the globe. The mix of boutique properties and resorts are located in the U.S. in San Diego, Santa Fe, Houston, and St. Louis; while the additions also expand the collection to Singapore and Bali.
Tribute’s 157-room La Posada de Santa Fe resort and spa will join next month, boasting high-end amenities and authentic adobe architecture spread across six acres. The Magnolia Hotel St. Louis will convert to the Tribute portfolio in January 2017. The historic site of the former Mayfair Hotel offers 182 guestrooms and Robies Restaurant and Lounge. Also converting in January, the Magnolia Hotel Houston will be Tribute’s first hotel in Texas. Located in the former Post-Dispatch building, the 314-room hotel includes a rooftop pool and upscale lounge.
The brand’s second Colorado hotel and first in Denver, the Magnolia Hotel Denver will join the collection in October 2017 following an upgrade to its lobby and restaurant. The boutique 297-room hotel is located inside the American National Bank Building. Occupying the former Armed Forces YMCA Building, Tribute’s unnamed San Diego hotel will be its third in California. Housed within the Italian Renaissance-style landmark, the hotel is expected to open in late 2017.

Expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific, Tribute will introduce its second Indonesian hotel next month with the launch of the Sthala Bali Ubud. The new-build will feature 145 guestrooms, a spa, two restaurants and swimming pools, as well as a rooftop bar and ballroom. Tribute will also arrive in Singapore’s trendy Jalan Besar neighborhood with the Hôtel Vagabond, which will be converted this November. Comprising a row of Art Deco-style shophouses from the 1950s, the hotel houses 41 guestrooms and is the first hotel in Asia with interiors crafted by French designer Jacques Garcia. A 5,000-square-foot ballroom will be located onsite, reinterpreting a traditional Parisian salon.
