Viceroy Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to launch the Hotel Zena in Washington, DC. Slated to arrive in spring 2020, the property will open in the city’s bustling Logan Circle region, as one of the two Viceroy properties to open in the city next year.
Seattle-based Dawson Design Associates will craft an atmosphere of women empowerment and femininity with a rebellious flair that permeates across all 191 accommodations and public spaces. A cocktail bar will greet visitors in the lobby, while the rooftop pool and event space on the 14th floor will embrace a backdrop of the city skyline. A unique art program will also be showcased onsite, with highlights including a mural of iconic lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg and a 50-foot-long winding pyrometric serpent.
