Viceroy Hotel Group has announced that the Viceroy Princes’ Islands Istanbul will open later this summer. Tucked away on the island of Büyükada in the Marmara Sea, only a short boat ride from Istanbul, the property will be Viceroy’s first in Turkey.
Endowed with 77 guestrooms, suites, and private residences, the hotel will offer guests an experience inspired by Ottoman luxury. Accessible only by a private pier, the resort includes an award-winning ESPA spa and wellness center that is equipped with an indoor pool and a modernized Turkish bathhouse. 14,424 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space includes a ballroom and a rooftop terrace and gardens. Visitors can cool off in the resort’s two pools or private sea lagoon, or enjoy two onsite restaurants, as well as the Ice Bar and the Resort Club Bar.
The resort’s 20,731-square-foot grand mansion, a cultural heritage site, has been revitalized and will debut a baroque entryway, six suites, and a private pool in addition to its numerous social spaces and expansive terrace.
