Located in San Francisco’s Union Square, the Villa Florence is set to unveil its latest updates this fall from Perkins+Will. The interdisciplinary firm oversaw upgrades to the hotel lobby, including its lounge, bar, and meeting rooms.
The transformation will introduce an edgy new concept with a modern, Italian-inspired aesthetic. With a vibrant color palette, the bar and lounge will feature a highly lacquered yellow bar influenced by automotive Italian finishes. A new retail wall will be installed to showcase handbags and other eclectic items from locally based artists.
“Italy is home to the most luxurious and innovative retailers and designers in the world,” says Jackie McGee, principal at Perkins+Will. “We were inspired by their style and first-class craftsmanship to create a unique and memorable experience for the Villa Florence guests.”
