In the vibrant center of Vila Olímpia, W São Paulo marks the Marriott brand’s debut in Brazil.
With the architecture conceived by Aflalo/Gasperini Arquitetos, the tower’s ventilated façade required paneling of various shapes and sizes, each custom cut to accommodate the structure’s sculpted geometry. Clad in a refined black material that wraps continuously to the top, the façade establishes a strong architectural profile that stands out within São Paulo’s skyline.
The project is laid out with an open‑block configuration that creates a public passage between Funchal and Helena streets, lined with landscaping by Benedito Abbud. Retail and social spaces open to this pedestrian path, blurring thresholds between the street and the building. This same paving material is extended into the interiors, creating a sense of continuity and connection.

Inside, floors 1-23 house the W Residences, which feature dedicated leisure areas and panoramic lounges.
From the 24th floor upward, the W Hotel begins with a reception level shared with Yōso Bar & Café, where Japanese mixology blends into São Paulo’s fast‑moving cultural landscape.
The hotel features 179 guestrooms (including 16 suites) shaped by a design language courtesy of Nini Andrade Silva that mirrors the city’s contrasts—energetic, layered, and constantly in motion. Each accommodation is a canvas where urban aesthetics meet the tactile richness of local materials. Bold lines and organic forms are paired with a warm palette informed by Brazil’s vibrant cultural spectrum.
At its crown, the tower offers a 360‑degree skypool overlooking São Paulo’s skyline.
