The Yorktowne Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has reopened in the heart of downtown York, Pennsylvania. Crafted by a team of designers—including locally based multidisciplinary firm NUTEC, BHC Architects, and RD Jones—the property boasts the denomination as the 100th hotel in Hilton’s Tapestry Collection portfolio.
“Today marks the celebration of Tapestry Collection’s 100th hotel opening with the Yorktowne Hotel, an incredible milestone for Hilton’s lifestyle category. The category has grown impressively to more than 250 diverse and locally inspired hotels across five brands, with more than 250 in the pipeline,” says Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer for Hilton. “More and more people are looking for bespoke experiences in their travels, and this milestone reflects the importance Hilton places on continuously evolving to address the needs of today’s guests.”
Reimagined with a modern but classic design, the overhauled hotel comprises stately amenities like the Davidson Lobby Bar and the onsite dining room. Among more than 10,000 square feet flexible meeting and event space, the WellSpan Ballroom stands out alongside the Graham Rooftop Lounge, which spans more than 4,500 square feet and panoramic views.
A fitness center and rooftop bar and lounge round out the Yorktowne Hotel, which houses 123 guestrooms and 27 long-term stay suites as well.
