Bulgari Hotel Rome
Considering that the brand’s roots trace back to 19th-century Rome, the arrival of a Bulgari hotel in June (another is planned this year for Tokyo) is especially poignant. Housed in a 1936 modernist building in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, the property—with more than 100 rooms and suites—will flaunt burnt red brick and travertine marble that recall the days of Augustus, the first Roman emperor. Relaxing will take place in the reading room, lined with books fittingly dedicated to the history of jewelry.
