The Beach House Maldives has joined Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, marking the luxury brand’s first property in Asia Pacific. Hilton Worldwide has invested $58 million to improve the exclusive 35-acre resort, including four restaurants and three bars that have been redesigned to incorporate local heritage, as well as the Art Gallery, featuring a specially commissioned Maldivian sculpture. Hilton also upgraded interiors of the 83 villas, each complete with a private pool and butler, and has introduced 30 Degrees, a private dining restaurant featuring a glass-floored over-water pavilion.
