Hunter Douglas, Inc. has announced the Order for Permanent Injunction against HT Window Fashions Corp. for infringement of one of its licensor’s patents. The order was made by the Federal District Court of Western Pennsylvania in the suit of Ren Judkins vs. HT Window Fashions Corp. Hunter Douglas, Inc., a licensee of Judkins, an independent inventor, funded the litigation against HT Window Fashions. The infringing products of cellular fabric construction were manufactured in Taiwan by Teh Yor Co., Ltd.
The order states that HT is enjoined from making, importing, selling, offering to sell, or otherwise using the product and is directed to deliver to Judkins, or his designee, within 30 days, all inventory and related merchandising. HT is also ordered to remove all advertisements or other materials relating to the product from its website.
