Humanscale, Artemide Form Distribution Partnership

 Humanscale and Artemide have announced a new partnership in which the ergonomic work tool manufacturer will have exclusive rights to distribute the new LED version of the iconic Tolomeo task light to the U.S. contract market, starting in January. The LED light features the same signature shade and adjustable arm that has become the Tolomeo trademark, but the newest generation consumes just 10 watts of power while producing as much light as 75 watts of incandescent lighting. The LED Tolomeo will join the Element light in Humanscale’s line of ultra-efficient LED offerings. Introduced in July 2009, Element has already collected a number of prestigious industry awards for its unique design and breakthrough LED technology.
