Overlooking the Charles River and Boston skyline, the 470-room Hyatt Regency Cambridge has unveiled its $15 million renovation. The hotel’s design scheme showcases an urban feel with subtle plaid carpet, textured wallcoverings, and plush rich bed linens accented with a chocolate and olive green and blue striped throw pillow. Regional black and white photographic artwork showcases the historic architectural elements of buildings in the city. The furniture anchors the space with deep espresso wood tones, sleek lines accented with brushed nickel, and black glass. In addition, guest bathrooms now feature a granite vanity, oversized tiled floors, generous energy-efficient lighting, and modern fixtures.
The Zephyr on the Charles restaurant and bar has reopened after receiving a comprehensive makeover that included new carpet, contemporary hard wood floors, and colorful modern accents. Other notable changes include a lobby atrium with a lavish courtyard and the Charles View Ballroom on the 16th floor.
