A Ritz-Carlton Reserve property is slated for Los Cabos, Mexico, in 2014. WATG will be responsible for the architecture and interior design. Situated on 800 feet of oceanfront along Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, the resort will comprise 124 private villas featuring their own infinity plunge pools, outdoor terraces with fireplaces, outdoor showers, and butler service. As part of the Puerto Los Cabos mixed-use development, the Ritz-Carlton will also offer guests access to a spa, the Desert Botanical Theme Park, Fisherman’s Wharf, a 500-slip marina, and two private championship golf courses.
All Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties are designed with their location in mind. Elements often include native architectural signatures, local art, and indigenous furniture.
