The Mohawk Group took to the courts and the green in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The carpet manufacturer served as a platinum sponsor for the 2009 Ansley Pro-Am, an annual golf and tennis charity event in Georgia. The four-day event raised nearly $100,000 for the cause.
The company also donates 25 cents for every yard of carpet specified with its Karastan and Durkan brands to Komen For the Cure. Since this Specify for the Cure program’s inception, the Mohawk Group and its customers have contributed more than $3 million to research and community outreach.
