Marriott Indianapolis Downtown has achieved Green Seal Certification, which conducted in on-site audit to confirm the hotel’s sustainability claims. The program’s guidelines include requirements in waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, wastewater management, and green procurement. The hotel implemented a host of green initiatives, including use of non-toxic or less toxic cleaners, as well as the addition of LED lighting and compact fluorescent lights.
