Designed by Graham Baba Architects, the Cloud Room coworking space is located on the sixth floor of the Chophouse Row building in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The open, light-filled space is designed to offer opportunities for independent working with glass-fronted conference and phone rooms, while also allowing for the ability to connect and collaborate in the large coworking area and lounge.
Office furnishings for the 5,017-square-foot space, including a private members’ club, is a mix of simple standardized pieces such as long work tables and seating, as well as an eclectic assortment of more relaxed seating. The lounge features a wood- and mirror-faced bar with stools, sofas, and accessories, all in muted tones of brown and gray. Glass doors lead to an outdoor terrace punctuated with a firepit for cool-weather socializing.
