Wellness-focused hospitality company Getaway has revealed plans to expand its U.S. footprint with the rollout of five new locations and 224 cabins through mid-2022. Following increased consumer demand in the Southeast and Midwest, Getaway will add new sites outside of Indianapolis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and New Orleans, as well as a second outpost near Boston.
“At Getaway, we believe that free time is a right that should be made a ritual. Our cabins offer space for people to honor their free time, disconnect from work and technology and reconnect with their loved ones and themselves,” says Getaway founder and CEO Jon Staff. “Now more than ever, people are seeking short, frequent escapes to nature and focusing on their mental health and wellbeing. We look forward to bringing the Getaway experience to more people in new cities across the country.”
Getaway Machimoodus will grow Getaway’s offerings outside of Boston with an additional 45 cabins located in Connecticut to attract New York residents as well. Situated two hours outside of New Orleans, Getaway Homochitto will debut as the company’s third outpost in the Southeast and comprise 40 cabins at the threshold of the Homochitto National Forest. In the Midwest, Getaway Brown County will feature 45 cabins near Indianapolis, Getaway Ozark Highlands will open outside of Kansas City with 45 cabins, and Getaway Kettle River will comprise 49 cabins on the banks of Long Lake outside Minneapolis.
