The south-facing wall of the hotel features a 150-foot-by-50-foot mural designed by students from New York-based art collective Groundswell, who were mentored by Jeff Koons. With a female silhouette acting as a backdrop, the piece celebrates SoHo with symbolic imagery including cobblestones, an industrial worker, and the signature crown logo of former neighborhood resident Jean-Michel Basquiat.
