At a glance: The Standard’s busy 2022 includes openings in Hua Hin and Bangkok in Thailand, as well as Ibiza, where the Standard team is reviving a beloved cinema into a destination with “a chic ’60s vibe that only the Standard can create,” says the brand’s chief design officer Verena Haller. A stone’s throw from the main 67-room hotel is Casa Privada, a rentable 14-room house with its own private rooftop, courtyard, lounge, and gym.
