Originally known as the Pitt Street Hotel when it debuted in 1929 (for years, it was regarded as Australia’s tallest hotel), Hotel Morris stays true to its roots after opening this January. The striking Inter-War Palazzo style building was thoughtfully restored with windows and doors that correspond to those that appeared in the 1930s, while marble, brass, and mustard and burgundy hues in the bar and 82 guestrooms conjure the Art Deco period.
