For Rosewood’s debut in Germany later this year, Tara Bernerd & Partners has resuscitated a duo of historic buildings in the city center—the former headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and the Palais Neuhaus-Preysing. The well-preserved façade and elegant stairways are balanced with contemporary additions including 132 rooms; a natural light-filled lobby with a bookish, residential air; and a spa with a showpiece indoor pool.
