What we’re looking forward to: Like its sister hotels in Nantucket and Palm Beach, White Elephant Aspen is classy yet relaxed, a departure from the resort town’s cabin-style accommodations. Informed by the hotel’s Rocky Mountains setting, the 54 alpine guestrooms juxtapose grounding hues of warm white and cognac with original artwork and embossed leather headboards. The action unfurls in White Elephant’s signature Lola 41 restaurant, a glass-enclosed escape with a speakeasy.
