Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island
Hilton has expanded its presence in the Seychelles with the addition of two properties, the ultra-luxury Waldorf Astoria Platte Island and the 120-room Canopy by Hilton on Mahé, designed by DSA Architects International. The former features 59 seafront villas with private pools; six dining venues including brand signature Peacock Alley; and a marine conservation center. Sustainability is top of mind for the resort, which has also incorporated solar-paneled roofing that melds with the island’s natural beauty.
