Boston-based Blue Flag Partners will open the lifestyle, 62-room boutique hotel Faraway Nantucket this June. The property is comprised of four inns, which made up the former Roberts Collection.
The hotel’s aesthetic draws inspiration from a fictional story of a woman who grew up in Nantucket. She ran away on a ship when she was younger and then came back years later with treasures and stories to tell. Her story unfolds within the 200-year-old classic New England architecture. As such, the guestroom experience is light and airy with coastal themes. Quirky textiles and objets d’art reflect those treasures from her visits to tropical ports.
The property also will include Sister Ship, a bar lounge that will feature a cocktail program inspired by ports of the West Indies.
