Avi Brosh’s Palisociety has expanded its national portfolio with the opening of Hôtel Lili in Beverly Hills.
Constructed in 1939 as a private residence, the three-story building now serves as an intimate 44-room hotel that marries European-inspired sensibilities with classic Los Angeles charm.
A residential aesthetic
The vision for the property moves away from traditional luxury with an immersive, residential atmosphere that creates a quiet enclave for guests to experience a different side of the California neighborhood.
“Beverly Hills is often associated with grandeur, but Hôtel Lili takes more of an intimate, design-savvy, and hyper-local approach,” says Brosh. “Instead of high-gloss opulence, we focused on mood, texture, and storytelling, and the result feels residential, layered, and a little mysterious.”
Bespoke details at Hôtel Lili
Conceptualized and executed by Palisociety’s in-house design team, Hôtel Lili evokes the ambiance of a Parisian hideaway, weaving together bold styling with a carefully selected color palette. A foundation of soft white and pale gray hues is juxtaposed by warm camel, orange, and mustard tones for a richly layered environment.
Throughout the guestrooms and common areas, the design employs expected and unexpected applications of enveloping draperies alongside custom-made furniture. Sculptural glass lighting casts an atmospheric glow over handpainted details, while striped patterns and wallpapered ceilings add visual intrigue and Old World elegance.
Intimate amenities
The guest journey is anchored by thoughtfully programmed public spaces crafted for both day and night. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into a reception area that transitions into a lobby bar by evening.
Hotel guests also have access to a neighboring swimming pool during their stay.
