New York-based architecture and interior design firm CetraRuddy has announced the promotions of several team members. Branko Potocnik and Kevin Lee have assumed associate principal roles, while Lindsey Doren and Maria Clironomos are now associates.
“We are proud to recognize the importance that Branko, Kevin, Lindsey, and Maria play both within the firm, and within our professional community. They are all committed to design innovation, technical excellence and client mission,” says Nancy J. Ruddy, the firm’s co-founding principal.
Potocnik has worked in the industry for more than 25 years, boasting a diverse portfolio of international hospitality work across Belgrade, Saudi Arabia, Toronto, the UK, and the U.S. He holds a bachelor of interior architecture from Belgrade’s University of Arts. With more than 15 years’ experience designing residential and mixed-use buildings, Lee has been with CetraRuddy since 2001. He is joining the firm’s 10-person executive committee, providing leadership strategy and direction. Prior to joining CetraRuddy, Lee worked as a senior architect with Richard Meier & Partners. He earned a master’s degree in architecture from Columbia University’s School of Architecture.
Doren has completed a slew of residential projects since joining the company more than three years ago, including a two-building Manhattan complex and a 760,000-square-foot residence in Brooklyn. She holds a bachelor of architecture degree from the Syracuse University School of Architecture. Clironomos, who earned a bachelor of architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology, has also completed major New York residential projects, such as a 250-unit residence in Brooklyn and a multifamily conversion on the Upper West Side.
“These practitioners represent a new generation of leadership in architecture and interiors for CetraRuddy, and their combined experience underscores the value we add for all our clients,” Ruddy adds. “These are talented design professionals who understand the importance of a holistic, comprehensive, and thoughtful analytic approach to the design and construction process. Their unique design sensitivity and wide range of skills reflect not only the diversity of our 100-person practice but also our continued commitment to resourcefully meeting client objectives.”
