Rockville, Maryland-based HVS Design has appointed Christine M. Shanahan as director of design. She will oversee and manage the staff of designers as well as create designs for the firms’ numerous hospitality projects.

Nehmer, managing principal of HVS Design. “HVS Design has grown tremendously since it was founded 13 years ago and we look forward to Christine working with us as the company continues to expand.”
Shanahan brings more than 20 years of professional design experience to the firm. Prior to joining HVS Design, Shanahan served as project director for J/Brice International and ran her own full-service interior design firm, Studio East Design. In addition to hospitality, Shanahan has experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, assisted living, and residential projects.
HVS Design is currently working on several hospitality projects across the country including the Westin Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware; the Hyatt Place in Southwest Washington, DC; and EVEN Hotel in Norwalk, Connecticut.
