Contemporary design e-commerce platform the Invisible Collection has announced that its online charity auction will continue to accept bids through Monday, May 4th. The sale comprises 25 designs from a range of international designers and artisans, with proceeds benefitting three coronavirus relief charities in three countries: Fondation de France, National Emergencies Trust, and Feeding America.
“The home has been for a few weeks and for many months to come, the ultimate refuge for all of us who are lucky enough to discover, create, and furnish beautiful places,” Invisible Collection cofounders Anna Zaoui and Isabelle Dubern-Mallevays said in a statement. “We wish to help at our modest scale by offering pieces that we love and by making sure 100 percent of proceeds go to the three charities to help hospitals and patients.”
They continue: “Care workers are on the frontline for all of us, they have been too often forgotten, they are the artisans of tomorrow’s world. Each of us owes it to them to support them today, tomorrow, always. All the objects presented are favorites that we look forward to seeing in their new homes, for a great and important cause.”
