Omni Hotels & Resorts and Loews Hotels & Co. have announced a new cross-marketing and sales partnership. The plan aims to provide customers within each company’s respective bases with more options in the markets where Omni and Loews properties do not overlap. Omni currently operates 60 hotels across North America, while Loews oversees 27 units in the region.
“As we continue to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, we must find new, strategic ways to market our hotels and resorts,” says Omni president Peter Strebel. “Partnering with a like-minded brand such as Loews Hotels & Co is a thoughtful and unique way to offer our guests, and theirs, wider distribution. We look forward to a successful partnership and paving the way towards the full recovery of the hospitality industry.”
The first phase of the partnership will entail cross-selling in cities where the two U.S.-headquartered hospitality companies do not compete—including Philadelphia and Charlotte, North Carolina. Phase two will potentially involve the development of a lead referral system. Each brand will continue to maintain individual visual identities as well as marketing, loyalty, pricing, and availability.
