The second location of Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen has debuted in Irvine, California’s Market Place shopping center. Designed by West Hollywood-based interior designer Thomas Schoos, the restaurant draws upon the sunny, indoor-outdoor aesthetic of the original unit.
The open-air dining room is equipped with large, retractable floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interior with natural light. A neutral palette defines the eatery, offset with pops of bright yellow and teal and accented by authentic Latin tapestries and basketweave details. Wooden and marble countertops are illuminated by handcrafted light fixtures, while a glass-enclosed exhibition kitchen serves as the focal point. A large outdoor patio boasts an open-air bar, lounge seating, a fire table, and intimate and communal seating enclaves.
