Anantara Hotels, Resorts, & Spas is set to make its debut in Europe with the opening of the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort on Portugal’s southern coast. The property is currently operating as the Tivoli Victoria, and will relaunch under the Anantara banner next month.
The property’s 280 spacious guestrooms and suites will overlook cerulean swimming pools and the Arnold Palmer-designed Oceânico golf course. Elevated accommodations will include the four-person family suite category and the two-bedroom Anantara suite. Located on the hotel’s rooftop, the Anantara suite will be equipped with a large terrace, private dining area, sundeck, and Jacuzzi.
Refreshes will be made to the lobby and fitness center, and a new Anantara Explorer’s club for kids will be added. The rebranded Anantara Spa will offer extensive therapies as well as yoga and tai chi sessions set against the green backdrop of the golf course. Six locally anchored restaurants and bars will be featured in addition to four pools and a tennis court. The standalone conference center will accommodate up to 800 people across eight rooms flooded with natural light.
