Marriott International’s Autograph Collection has made its debut in Portland, Oregon with the opening of the Hi-Lo Hotel. The boutique concept is situated within the city’s historic Oregon Pioneer Building, which first opened in 1910 as Portland’s first concrete structure.
San Francisco-based interior design firm Orlando Diaz-Azcuy Design Associates and San Luis Obispo, California-based Arris Studio Architects teamed up with local practices OMFGC and Jessica Helgerson Interior Design to infuse the historic space with warmth and liveliness. All 120 guestrooms and suites have been designed with modern furnishings as well as local, handcrafted bathroom amenities.
F&B options include the Lo Bar as well as the upscale Mexican restaurant Alto-Bajo, while a 24-hour fitness center and abundant meeting spaces comprise additional public spaces.
