Début Hotel Group, Hampshire Hotels Management’s collection of lifestyle hotel brands, has signed an agreement with boutique development house WY Group for the Time Hotel Nyack.
Located less than a mile from downtown Nyack, New York, the 133-room hotel will be housed in a former factory renovated with an industrial loft style with various yet-to-be-announced F&B outlets and seven suites. While the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office of Environetics Group Architects will develop the site, New York-based Glen Coben of Glen & Co. Architecture will develop its interiors.
“Having just reinvented our Time Hotels brand, we are very pleased to debut the Time Nyack, just a short distance, but a world apart, from our flagship Time New York hotel,” says Eric Danziger, president and CEO of Début Hotel Group and Hampshire Hotels Management. “We are excited to partner with developers Michael Yanko and Kerry Wellington of WY Group.”
“Having worked in Nyack intimately for years, we are excited to partner with Début Hotel Group and Hampshire Hotels Management to bring the first-ever lifestyle hotel to the Rockland area,” says Yanko. “We are filling a void that has been missing from the area,” adds Wellington.
Additional amenities will include approximately 3,500 square feet of meeting and event space, a business center, recreational dipping pools, a fitness center, bike program, local shuttle services, and a Tesla charging station.
Procida Funding and Advisors is financing construction on the project, slated to open this fall.
