The Grand Hyatt Bogota has debuted as the first Hyatt hotel property in the Colombian capital and the first Grand Hyatt unit in the country. Situated in the heart of the Ciudad Empresarial Sarmiento Angulo commercial district, the 372-room hotel is designed by Chilean firm EcheverrÃa Edwards and locally based practice Construcciones Planificadas S.A. to aptly reflect the spirit of the city.
Fifty suites are included among the bold and vibrant guestrooms, which are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the hotel’s verdurous inner atrium garden as well as the city and distant Andes Mountains. Suites and club rooms boast exclusive access to the property’s elegant Grand Club Lounge and its all-day concierge and culinary services.
Dining options include the upscale Ushin Japanese & Grill on the hotel’s 14th floor, while Capitalino Restaurant serves as the onsite all-day concept. Ilustre Bar and Aldeana Market are also featured, functioning as a cocktail-driven social hub and coffee space, respectively. The 32,000-square-foot Zaitania Spa is outfitted with 11 spacious treatment rooms on the third floor, along with three hydrotherapy pools, a relaxation area, steam room, and dry sauna. A salon, fitness center, and indoor pool are also installed, while 24,434 square feet of various meeting and event spaces span the property.
