Hyatt Hotels has set its sights on the Finnish capital of Helsinki as part of expanding the footprint of its Unbound Collection. Slated to undergo a renovation and rebranding, the Grand Hansa Hotel will become Hyatt’s maiden outpost in Finland once its transformation is completed in 2022.
The 224-room hotel will retain is historic façade to remain connected to the heritage of the site, while interiors will be updated to reflect the influence of Finnish folklore and mythology. Beyond a newly constructed reference, the ground floor will be designed as a sprawling space that houses F&B options as well as expansive conference and meeting facilities.
