Dubai-based luxury hospitality brand, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts has plans to launch a new contemporary lifestyle brand, VENU. Inspired by the spirit of Dubai, the brand boasts a bold, ambitious, energetic, and cosmopolitan design created to appeal to the modern traveler.
Industry veteran Matt Balcik will lead the rollout of VENU internationally as vice president of operations, brand development. “Under Matt’s leadership, we want travelers to be inspired by the energy of the VENU brand—to feel that they are encountering something completely new,” says CEO group operations at Jumeirah Group, Nicholas Clayton.
The brand will operate as a completely independently under the Jumeirah Group. Discussions are under way with a number of developers in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe about locations for VENU, the first of which will be in Dubai, possibly on Bluewaters Island.
