Kimpton the Rowan Palm Springs is on track to debut this fall as the anchor of the forthcoming $400 million revitalization project in Downtown Palm Springs, California. The area’s first full-scale hotel build in decades and Kimpton’s first in the market, the 153-room property will mix minimalism with modern desert urbanity.
Crafted in collaboration by Kimpton’s in-house design team and Los Angeles-based practice Powerstrip Studio, the hotel’s contemporary design will feature sculptural geometry and modernist forms across sophisticated spaces further elevated with natural light, inviting furnishings, and custom art installations. A neutral palette will define guestrooms with pops of blue and subtle patterns as an accent.
The hotel will also be home to the city’s sole rooftop pool, which will be appointed with six luxury cabanas. Two restaurants and two bars will also be installed, offering idyllic desert and mountain views as well as more than 5,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space.
