The Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa on Grand Cayman island is unveiling three new restaurants. Helmed by executive chef Massimo De Francesca, the culinary mind behind Kimpton restaurants Taggia and Saltrock Southwest Kitchen, the venues will offer different multicultural fare.
Ave, the resort’s centralized onsite eatery, will enjoy a convivial and communal atmosphere serving Spanish tapas in the 30-seat main dining room. Housed within Ave, the 12-seat chef’s table Avecita will feature a fluctuating menu serving just two parties each night. Both spaces are designed by New York-based MARKZEFF.
The casual, culinary mash-up Coccoloba will draw influence from the Mexican coast. The open-air, beachfront dining room will be sheltered by seagrape trees—the restaurant’s namesake. Housed within a waterfront structure grandfathered into the resort, the restaurant will be designed by Los Angeles-based firm Powerstrip Studio.
All three venues will open in November.
