In the heart of Costa Smeralda, where the waters of the Gulf of Pevero meet with lush forest, luxury brand Mandarin Oriental will launch its fourth Italian property, the Mandarin Oriental, Porto Cervo, in Sardinia.
Set to open in 2026, the Mandarin Oriental, Porto Cervo will be developed in partnership with Gruppo Statuto, which also collaborated on the company’s Milan hotel. The hillside hotel blend accessibility and seclusion, with a forest trail that leads to a private beach.
It will house 83 guestrooms and suites, along with five restaurants and bars, a spa, and a fitness center that will include large indoor and outdoor pools nestled amidst gardens.Â
A 30-minute drive from Olbia airport, the hotel will also be located close to boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and the Porto Cervo Marina, which features a Yacht Club, coves, and secluded beaches.Â
“We are pleased to be working with Mandarin Oriental once again and look forward to creating an exceptional resort, delivering a new high-end hospitality offering in this very special corner of Sardinia, one of Italy’s top island destinations,” says Giuseppe Statuto, owner of Gruppo Statuto.
