The Cipriani family’s Mr. C Hotels brand has announced plans to launch its first New York outpost, the Mr. C Seaport, opening at the end of the year. Evoking both contemporary and classic qualities, the luxurious Lower Manhattan retreat will feature stylish European glamour and nautical flair from locally based Danish architect Thomas Juul-Hansen.
The design of the 66-room hotel will reflect the recent revitalization of the Seaport District, while maintaining its historic red brick façade, anchoring it to the neighborhood. Guestroom will include 10 premium suites equipped with panoramic balcony terraces, teak veneers, and rain showers.
Public spaces include the lobby lounge, fitness center, private function space, and a traditional Cipriani Italian dining concept.
